The Organization Committee builds a team - a partnership of people and organizations that have a stake in the commercial areas of the city. Business owners, volunteers, and elected officials come together under the leadership of an Executive Director to build consensus to support a vibrant business community. The committee keeps the board, committees, staff, and program-of-work in good shape by attracting people and money to the organization.
The Design Committee works to get the business community in top physical condition, creates a safe living enviroment, promoting attractive storefronts, inviting public spaces, public art, convenient parking, interesting window displays. The committee addresses the physical appearances of Downtown Annapolis and advocates for policy changes to make it easier to grow downtown.
