Downtown Annapolis Partnership (AP) is a non-profit 501 (3) Main Street organization. AP was established in the fall of 2015 with the merger of the Annapolis Business Association and Main Streets of Annapolis Partnership. DAP is focused on the City’s core commercial area and includes West Street, Church Circle, State Circle, Maryland Avenue, Main Street, Dock Street, Market Space, and City Dock. In addition, DAP collaborates with the other commercial areas in the City to build a vibrant and healthy business environment that attracts residents, visitors and investors.
DAP’s mission is to build a strong community of residents, business owners and volunteers to sustain our local business community while preserving the historic character of Annapolis. The Main Street program was created and implemented nationwide by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is now supporting more than 2,000 cities in the US. Main Street is a common sense, strategy-driven framework that guides community-based revitalization efforts. Using the Main Street structure, Ms. Reed and the Downtown Annapolis Partnership will build on the social, economic, physical, and cultural assets that create the unique Annapolis experience.
An Annapolitan for over 14 years, Shellie has a deep love for the city’s history, architecture, and energy and has great expectations for its future. She can be reached via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or 410.570.9596
