Annapolis History

Annapolis, Maryland, was established in 1694 and has preserved much of its past architecture. If you enjoy visiting or living in a city that has done a great job on historic preservation, then you need to visit Annapolis. We have the highest concentration of 18th century buildings in the country, and home to four signers of the Declaration of Independance. Many refer to Annapolis as a museum without walls.
